No Color Brighter Than Us

Imagine what it's like to mate
inside an orange flower
Sun-kissed first date
Golden and pollen powered
We crawl together over soft petals
as breezes rock our bed
birds fly overhead
we hide together
dance like feathers
wind sways beds of all
our friends
under the sun
as we all dream of no one else
but us
imagine loving me inside an orange cup
there is no color brighter
than us
no color brighter than us
